Easter Labyrinth 2021

This year’s theme is based on the hymn “Lead Us from Death to Life.” The hymn’s refrain is inspired by ancient text known as the World Peace Prayer and is universally prayed daily at noon by people of all faiths. Today’s stations are each inspired by one line of that refrain. You are invited to prayerfully whisper the line as you engage each station.

We are thankful to the artists who created today’s stations. Praying the stations with an open heart and mind allows each of us to enter into the mystery of this sorrowful and promising weekend through a different lens. Please approach the stations with an appreciation for the artist’s journey and how it may expand and enrich your own.

The peace of Christ be with you.

World Peace Prayer

Lead us from death to life,
From falsehood to truth,
From despair to hope,
From fear to trust.
Lead us from hate to love,
From war to peace.
Let peace fill our hearts,
Let peace fill our world,
Let peace fill our universe.

After your move through the online gallery, you are invited to also encounter the Holy Week story through these scripture narrations. (To read full versions of these stories, refer to: Matthew 26-28, Mark 14-16, Luke 22-24, John 18-20.)
