Committees

Committees are the life-blood of RCHP, as they steward God’s blessings to this church, and lead us forward in the Spirit of Christ. Most of these gatherings happen on “Committee Night,” which is usually held on the first Thursday of each month. Most of these meetings take place in-person, while some gather virtually or in hybrid format. Use the button below to email us for more information.

Below are the listings and descriptions of all RCHP Committees, which are chaired by church Consistory members.

All are welcome to inquire about and join a committee to lend leadership to the church.

CARE

The Care Committee attends to the spiritual care of congregants, through visitation, prayer, spiritual support, and other forms of extending Christ’s compassion and hospitality.

FINANCE

The Finance Committee stewards the expenses, investments, and donations of the church, and helps guide the ministries of the church in a responsible and faithful direction.

FAITH DEVELOPMENT

The Faith Development Committee oversees all programs and education pertaining to the development and enrichment of faith in God, for all ages.

JUSTICE & MERCY

The Justice & Mercy Committee takes seriously our call to be public witnesses of the Good News of Jesus Christ, and this committee oversees all RCHP social justice in word and action.

WORSHIP

The Worship Committee, in support of worship staff, plans and coordinates all things related to the worship services: seasonal themes, music, liturgy, sanctuary maintenance, and more.

FELLOWSHIP

The Fellowship Committee creates and facilitates opportunities for experiencing the joy of life together, through church events, coffee hours, community meals, and other fun experiences.
