Station 9: “Let Peace Fill Our Universe”

In one of the 2019 Easter Labyrinth stations, together we began to mosaic the church garden’s bird bath. The bird bath was scheduled to return completed in 2020, its transformation to symbolize life’s reemergence from death. Yet after an unexpected year, the bird bath now graces the front lawn again, its new colors reflecting the sun’s rays and the water’s ripples. As the weather begins to warm, so too will new life, new colors, new textures spring forth from the ground. May you continue to return often to this welcoming space of new beginnings, to experience God’s peace in your life and to breathe peace into the universe.
