Mental Health Resources

Church-Based Mental Health Services (CBMHS) is a program of our affiliate non-profit, Churches Improving Communities. CBMHS provides compassionate mental health assessments to adolescents and adults from all walks of life, regardless of religious affiliation. We believe that lack of insurance, insufficient insurance or acute financial stress should not be barriers to timely, professional mental health support.

CBMHS offers low- and no-cost professional mental health counseling to individuals at six church locations in central New Jersey, including RCHP.  Learn more here.

CBMHS has also launched a “Warmline” to make sure that phone-based mental healthcare is available to anyone who needs it.  This is not a ‘hotline’ and anyone who needs emergency care should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.  Call the CBMHS Warmline for free non-crisis confidential mental health care at: (866) 777-2380.
