Affordable Housing
Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice; to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them, and not to hide yourself from your own kin?
Isaiah 58:6-8
RCHP formed RCHP Affordable Housing in 2006, with the goal of creating 6 apartments for women aging out of foster care. Today, RCHP owns 21 properties that total 54 units, and rents 60 additional apartments, providing affordable housing for over 500 of Central New Jersey’s most vulnerable residents. RCHP-AHC has a board of directors that is made up of church members and members of the larger community. RCHP-AHC serves youth, homeless families, veterans, re-entering citizens, immigrants, refugees and individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
